Darrah Blackwater

About Me

Darrah Blackwater is an artist and an attorney specializing in telecommunications law, federal Indian and tribal law, and spectrum policy. She advocates for tribal broadband access and wireless infrastructure deployment in underserved, tribal communities. A graduate of Fort Lewis College and the University of Arizona, her art dwells at the intersection of federal telecommunications regulation and tribal sovereignty. Darrah is from Farmington, New Mexico; she lives and works in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
